Cover page of last week’s The Economist:
One sub heading reads: Don’t be fooled by Syria. Vladimir Putin’s foreign policy is born of weakness and made for television.
- We shouldn’t be fooled by Syria, aka, Putin’s action their, but should be fooled by what msms are saying.
- Foreign policy could be made for television, and that is invented in Russia, only Russians watch television to understand their foreign policy. Rest of the world foreign policy is made for something else.
- Foreign policy could be born of weakness, but that is only true for Russia.
And we should believe all this, without asking further questions.
Like google, I say: ‘I am feeling lucky!’
